Principal’s Note

Dear LPHS Families, 

Thank you to all that attended our Back to School Night.  It was wonderful to see so many parents make time on a Wednesday night.  We didn’t get a chance to discuss the Important Dates document.  This is a working document to outline key events throughout the year, and is linked at the bottom of our webpage and at the bottom of each newsletter.

Our athletic teams are off and running for the Fall.  We had home softball, volleyball, and soccer games last week.  Football’s first home game will be Thursday night vs. Rampart. Freshmen, please join us at 5:30 PM for a special football tailgate kick-off event just for the Class of 2029.

As a reminder, there is no school for students this Friday, Aug 29. It is a work day for staff.

Please encourage your child to get involved with LPHS’s many clubs and activities.  This Wednesday, students will have the opportunity to see our club offerings at lunch during our Club Fair. The following are clubs that have already received approval, with more to come:

At the Senior Class Meeting on Wednesday, August 20th, Seniors gathered for a class picture, and Josten's provided information about Graduation cap and gown orders. An email was sent out on Sunday, Aug 24, with ordering instructions.

📌DEADLINES: Orders are due to Jostens by September 4th, and Class Picture orders are due by September 5th.

EF TOURS- Student Travel Opportunities in 2026

The LPHS EF Tours Team is heading to Italy/Greece, and The Galapagos in Summer 2026, and students are invited!

This is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills like independence and confidence. Lunch Reminders

  • School lunch may be paid for by cash, check made out to LPHLP (Lewis-Palmer Hot Lunch Program), or online at My School Bucks for a small fee. When paying online, PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 48 HOURS FOR PROCESSING. Cash and checks are immediately deposited to the student lunch account.

  • Students will not be able to purchase a lunch without adequate funds in their lunch account.
