Dear LPHS Families,
We have a busy and important week ahead. This Tuesday and Wednesday are SAT and PSAT exam days, which will not follow our normal school schedule. Please ensure you review the testing details and schedule outlined in this newsletter.
Seniors: Graduation will be here before we know it! I’m looking forward to our Senior Class Meeting this Tuesday at 2:00 PM. This is a mandatory meeting. During this meeting, I will share important Graduation information, and you will also vote for your Staff Heralds and speaker. I will begin promptly at 2:00 PM and will keep the meeting as concise as possible to respect your time on a non-school day—please arrive on time.
We are also excited for our student athletes to sign a National Letter of Intent this Wednesday in the Big Gym.
Looking forward to a great week!
- Principal Jeffrey Zick

SAT & PSAT TESTING IS THIS WEEK! |
Spring testing is THIS WEEK with SAT and PSAT exams for grades 9-11. We will not follow our normal school schedule this Tuesday or Wednesday. State Testing will take place as follows: |
On their test day, students should arrive by 7:40 AM and bring ONLY the following:
-- A valid school ID
-- School-issued Chromebook (fully charged!)
-- Chromebook Charger
-- Please carefully review the CollegeBoard Calculator Policy. We will not provide calculators during testing. Students will have access to a built-in Desmos graphing calculator in Bluebook for use in the math section, but students are also allowed to bring their own approved handheld calculator on test day according to the guidelines above.
-- If a student brings a phone, smartwatch, smart glasses, or earbuds during testing, they will be required to turn them in and off during the entire testing period.
-- A snack and water (optional)
DISMISSAL:
-- Testing should finish before lunch in most cases. Lunch will be available to purchase if students cannot be picked up directly after testing.
-- Students with transportation will be allowed to leave once their testing room has been released.
-- Buses will run as normal. If a student must remain at school until 2:52 p.m., they must physically remain in either the commons or library until they depart the building.
