PRINCIPAL'S NOTE

Dear LPHS Families,

Four more weeks to go! We would like to congratulate our 15 student-athlete signees! We are proud of your hard work and excited to see what you accomplish at the next level. This past week, we wrapped up our main SAT and PSAT testing sessions. I want to thank our students and staff for their focus and commitment. We still have SAT make-up testing ahead, along with AP exams just around the corner.

Prom week is here—an exciting time for our students and a chance to celebrate together as a school community. To ensure both Prom and After Prom are safe, fun, and successful, we need your help. Please consider signing up to volunteer at Prom and/or After Prom using the links included in this newsletter. The After Prom Committee especially needs your assistance. Your support truly makes a difference.

- Principal Jeffrey Zick

Parents, sign up to chaperone here.

Thinking of taking Prom photos at the Broadmoor? First, read this message from the Broadmoor:

"The Broadmoor is a private resort and is not open to the public for prom photography. During prom weekends, access to the property is limited to registered hotel guests, those with advanced reservations, and Broadmoor Golf Club members. Groups arriving without a valid reservation or membership will be politely redirected off property.

These guidelines are not intended to diminish the significance of prom, but rather to reflect a practical and responsible approach to managing an exceptionally busy environment — one that prioritizes safety, security, and the experience of all who are on property."

AFTER PROM is at LPHS from 10:30 pm to 2:30 am. AFTER PROM TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO BUY NOW! -- https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/44920) or use the QR code:

END-OF-YEAR TIPS FOR PARENTS

From the Best in Class Education Center: As the school year enters its final stretch and spring is in the air, you might be looking for ways to support your student in finishing the school year strong. Whether they’re in their freshman or senior year, this time of year always brings about “summer fever,” and it's tempting for students to get distracted or lose interest in their schoolwork.

Finishing the school year on top is possible for your high schooler with some recalibration and focused effort to keep pushing ahead. Here's a list of 7 ways to help your high schooler proudly finish the school year strong!

Information like this, along with important dates and reminders from the Counseling Department, can be found in the LP Counseling Corner newsletter linked below. Please check it weekly!
