Dear LPHS Families,
As we begin CMAS and SAT testing at LPHS, I want to encourage our students to get rest and give your all. These assessments provide a meaningful opportunity for our students to demonstrate their growth, reflect on their learning, and showcase the skills they have been building all year long.
Having the opportunity to see our LPHS students in action since August, I’ve been consistently impressed by the hard work, resilience, and dedication our students bring to their classrooms each day. Testing is simply one more chance for them to show what they can do and take pride in their progress. While we know these assessments are just one measure of success, they are an opportunity for students to challenge themselves and celebrate how far they’ve come.
Thank you to our teachers and staff for preparing and supporting students so thoughtfully, and to our families for encouraging a positive mindset at home. Together, we can help our students approach this experience with confidence and determination. I’m excited to see them shine!
- Principal Jeffrey Zick

Information like this, along with important dates and reminders from the Counseling Department, can be found in the LP Counseling Corner newsletter linked below. Please check it weekly!
