Dear LPHS Families,

Happy last week!  Finals week is the only thing between us and the conclusion of the first semester.  Remember, there are a lot of resources available for students who need extra study time.

Congratulations to LPHS Theatre for outstanding accomplishments at Thes-Con, the state theatre convention. Eight students are advancing to Nationals for achieving a superior rating in Musical Theatre-Solo and/or Duet Performance (pictures below).  In the world of LP athletics, we had Cheer and Poms both finish in 6th place at state. Stuart Denham won the Harold McCray Wrestling Tournament at 165!  

Do you know an incoming 8th grader? Please spread the word about our 8th Grade Night on January 14 with In-N-Out Burger onsite! This event provides the perfect glimpse into Ranger Life for next year’s freshmen.

Have a wonderful and safe break! Our Inside Track Family Communications will resume on January 4.

Here is the information to share. Tours begin on Dec. 5. Our 8th Grade Open House Night is Jan. 14; it's an excitement-filled event that showcases the amazing programs at LPHS.

District 38 is hosting a series of SAT prep sessions led by Dr. Michael Brom, Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment. He will lead six sessions from January through March, with each session focusing on a different topic—from test-taking strategies to specific content areas (focus on math).
