Lewis-Palmer High School EVERY RANGER, EVERY DAY |
We are off to a great start this January! As we progress into second semester, we are looking at making a change to our cellphone policy in an effort to protect classroom instruction time. All students requesting to leave class for restroom breaks or errands will be asked to leave their cellphones in the classrooms with their teachers. Many classes have a designated phone storage area. Further details clarifying this change will be emailed out later this week.
This Wednesday, January 14, we are excited to present our 8th Grade Night, with In-N-Out Burger onsite! This event provides an exciting glimpse into Ranger Life for next year’s freshmen, and is one of our favorite events of the year. We would love your help in encouraging potential Rangers to attend. No registration or signup is needed. Help spread that Ranger Pride!

What is RAD?
RAD events are put on by students, for students, and are a way for high school students to have fun on Friday nights. By offering an alternative to parties, RAD keeps students safe while still providing them with the social events they enjoy.
RAD is a program that was started by Palmer Ridge student Brandon Pappas to change the culture of drugs and drinking that is pervasive in many high schools across the country.
The program currently has chapters at Palmer Ridge High School and Lewis-Palmer High School. Details can be found at https://ppymca.org/programs/youth/teens/rad-program/
