Lewis-Palmer High School EVERY RANGER, EVERY DAY |
Dear LPHS Families,
I am in awe of the many ways all of you continue to contribute so generously to our community. From National First Responders Week gift bag donations, to the thousands of dollars and piles of food items contributed to Tri-Lakes Cares throughout our Harvest of Love Week, LPHS students and families are truly making a difference in our community. A sincere thank you to our Student Council for the countless hours they spent arranging our successful Harvest of Love drives and fun-filled assembly (yes, even the part when I and several other staff were the lucky recipients of the Pie Your Teacher event)! It’s inspiring to work in the midst of such exceptional students and supportive, compassionate families.
- Principal Jeff Zick

LPHS Theatre Presents: INTO THE WOODS |
Join us for an epic tale of a childless couple who set out to end a curse placed on them by a vengeful witch and are forced to experience the consequences of their actions. It is inspired by the Grimm Brothers' fairy-tales of "Little Red Riding Hood", "Cinderella", "Jack and the Beanstalk", and "Rapunzel." The final reprise of "Into the Woods" reminds us that there will be times when each of us must journey into the woods, but that we must mind the future and the past.
SHOWTIMES: Nov. 13, 14 and 15 at 7 PM; November 13, Saturday, Matinee at 1:30 PM.

We have two Ranger Advisory Committee opportunities next week:
1) Classroom Visits: Tuesday, November 11 from 9-11 AM. Take an inside look at the innovative education happening in LPHS classrooms. Please email tackerman@lewispalmer.org to sign up to attend.
2) Quarterly Ranger Advisory Committee Meeting: Wednesday, November 12, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in the DLL. SEE THE AGENDA.
All parents are invited! You do not need to commit to be officially "on the committee" to attend these meetings, and you do not need to commit to attend all the meetings. Your ideas and input are highly valuable to the the success of LPHS.
